We read the story Si j'étais Épicière and discussed all the things we see and do in a grocery story.
We would like the grocery store experience to come alive in our classroom, we are asking students to bring any clean, empty food containers, boxes, bags, or any other items that that would be found in a grocery store in order to turn our dramatic play center into a Varsity grocery store this week!
We also journaled 'J'aime manger et boire' and made drawings of all of the food and drinks that we like.
We have added a new song to our blog, 'J'ai faim, j'ai soif.' Have fun singing at home!
There is also a new article found under our resource section called "I'm ready for screens".
The am class had a fun first lesson with M. Ajay! Ajay will be teaching us Hip-Hop dance next few weeks for a very cool dance residency. We are looking forward to a fun performance to come.
The pm class started reading sentences with food vocabulary! We will be practicing these sentences for the next few weeks and students will have the opportunity to read them in front of the class.
March Scholastic orders went home. Orders are due March 9th.
