Such a magical day!  Did you hear?  When we went to get the gingerbread men, they were gone!  We found crumbs everywhere as we chased them through the school!  Oh, la, la!!!

Un grand MERCI BEAUCOUP to all the parents that volunteered today - we truly couldn't have done it without you!

We would like to wish everyone a safe and happy winter break and thank you for all the thoughtful cards and gifts, your kindness is incredible.  It is such a joy to work with your children - we have the best jobs in the world!

The January calendar will be posted tomorrow.  Heads up, we are planning an ice skating day (and there will be another one in February too)!  In addition to ice skates, children will need to have a skating, hockey, or skiing helmet (bike helmets will not be allowed).   More information will follow in January.   Merci!

Today we continued with our journaling, went to the gym for a dance party (AM class with their buddies), read another great story, and the PM class also had their Following the Group Plan social story/lesson.  We are all very excited for our gingerbread making tomorrow.  Thank you so much to our families that sent in ingredients!

Gentle reminder to please keep your child at home if they are sick - merci beaucoup from all of us!

Bravo tout le monde for some great presentations today!  We also made some Christmas patterns, wrote in our journals (PM group), and read another gingerbread story.  Ask your child what was "la même" and what was "différent" about today's story (Gingerbread Pirates).

If you have signed up to send in ingredients for our gingerbread making, can you please send them in tomorrow so we can make sure we have everything?  Merci beaucoup!

 The PM class is very busy these days making fidget spinners!  

What a great start to the week!  Both groups enjoyed some special guests in P.E. today: John (paralympian) and Connor came to talk about snowboarding and how we don't give up.  The AM group did some journaling and the PM group met with their buddies to play a math game.

We are looking forward to our homework presentations tomorrow!  Remind your child to bring in their paper so we can help them, if needed!

We had a fun caroling assembly today! It was nice to see and hear everyone get into the spirit of singing carols and showing some great dance moves with the music. It is a fun time when our school community comes together to celebrate!

Today's third We Thinkers lesson was about creating and following a group plan with others. It is important to discuss and make a plan so that we know everyone is on board and listening to each other.
