Today the students went to the gym for P.E. and then we were honored to have Lieutenant Colonel Al Price join us in the classroom.  Lieutenant Colonel Price served in the Canadian Army for 37+ years both in Canada and abroad, and has been awarded the Order of Military Merit, Canada’s highest peacetime decoration for extraordinary work and dedication to the Canadian Forces and Canada.  During his visit with us, he shared parts of his story, showed different items that a soldier carries, talked about how Canada helps others, and why we have Remembrance Day and poppies.
