Today we worked in two groups on the letters G, S, J in printing.  We continued our discussion of Remembrance Day and painted poppy fields.  Tomorrow we have a surprise guest joining us, so we encourage all students to wear a poppy tomorrow, if possible.  If you child hasn't shared our new song with you yet, you'll find it on the song page!

For the Friday assembly, if your child is in Sparks, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs, etc., they are welcome to wear their uniform to school that day and participate in the procession into the gym.  In addition, if you or any family members are attending and are veterans or active military members, please let us know in advance so that we can reserve a seat for you/them.

In addition, we've sadly had to remove our two lovely cedar trees that we bought for the classroom (they were dying).  If anyone has a company that might be getting rid of any artificial trees and might be willing to donate, we would love to hear from you!  Merci beaucoup!

Reminder:  Scholastic orders for November are due by Friday.
