We had a fun time getting to know other students from different grades and classes during our choice and curiosity games play today! Ask your child what game they played and if they made a new friend!

To start our week of Carnaval, we journaled "Je vois Bonhomme." We glued a picture of Bonhomme Carnaval in our journals and drew his ice palace as a background.

We had a great kick-off assembly showing our Carnaval cheer to the school, everyone did a fantastic job presenting our cheer! - We sang "Les mains en haut, les mais en bas, puis tappent les pieds et saute, saute, saute!!"

Monday February 10th is plaid day - wear a plaid shirt, socks, or hat. Also remember your skates and helmet. If your child's teacher does not have the activity form, they will not be able to skate.

Tuesday February 11 is wear a toque day.

Wednesday February 12 is winter, Canada, Carnaval clothing day - wear anything wintery or Carnaval colours. We will be going outside for a Carnaval activity, your child should be dressed in warm clothing / layers to play in the snow.
