We practiced the letter k today. K has the same action as c since it is the same sound. The action is breaking a branch.

We wrote "J'aime mes amis" today in our journals. We are lucky to have such great friends in our classroom!

Our dramatic play Postal Office has opened! We discussed what play looks like in a post office and came up with some great ideas.  Merci beaucoup to everyone who has been sending in envelopes, boxes, etc.  We're happy to take it all off your hands!

FOOD ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES TO HOT CHOCOLATE AND CROISSANTS?

On Wednesday, February 12, students will be provided with hot chocolate and croissants as part of our celebration of French Canadian food and culture.  If you DO NOT want your child to eat this snack, please send us an email to let us know prior to Tuesday, Feb 11 and send a special snack for your child to eat on Feb. 12.  (Thank you to VASPFS for funding this treat for the school!)
